He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.

We must prove worthy and obey the commandments before we can enter the House of the Lord. These questions, in a way, are the standards we have to meet when we want to go to the House of the Lord.
